Anna Stood and I Missed It

I wish I had a camera. Yesterday.
Anna stood up using the strength of her legs alone. I couldn't believe it--that's because I didn't see it. Javier did. Lydia did. Carlos, well, probably did, maybe he was watching TV.

So here's the play by play I got. She lifted her body up from sitting onto her feet. Then she stood, flopped forward, backward, forward, backward then forward again, where she fell and let out a cry. That's the part where I turned around and saw her on the ground.

I missed it, which made me insanely jealous of my husband, until he gently reminded me that I've seen every other advancement she and her siblings have made, well before him.

Well, still. I was in the same room and didn't even see it!

Anyone want to join me for a ity-bity pity party? Won't last too long. I get to see her try it again and again.

She eats Christmas lights, too. I'd guess you could call that "Lite" eating. "Do these diapers make my butt look big?"

Yay, Anna! She's amazing, Kerry! I'm sorry you missed it, though. =)
